Blog Backlog Done

As I said last month, my plan is to stop posting on this blog, once I cleared out my backlog. Well, I've officially done that! Everything has been posted at this point.

What should I do now? What should my final blog post be? Let me know your ideas.

Since your first blog post was about the Haunting of Castle Malloy deaths video you made, maybe your last blog post could be on similar lines. Or, more broadly, since the first post was about Nancy Drew, the last could be about Nancy Drew, too.

Also, just to check, are readers still able to make sin suggestions for your 'Everything Wrong With...' video series?

Thank you for writing on this blog all these years. It's been good reading! :)

I think your final blog post should be a look back and forward. I have read your blog for years now, and as far back as the Video Game Guy in your local newspaper. Video games, Nancy Drew, book reviews, Three Things Thursday, cooking recipes (and learning you’ve been measuring everything wrong), religion, politics, fan fiction, GameStop, your local library, marriage, YouTube, your game backlog, Cat President, have covered a lot. It all depends on how ambitious or simple you want your final blog post to be. You could do a mega post talking about all of the above, or just take one idea and focus on that. You can talk about what your life will look like, or the differences between when you started this blog and today. What kept you writing? How much has your life changed (the answer is a lot, but to what extent). How have things stayed the same?

No matter what you write, I would like to thank you for the guidance and personal opinions over these last few years. I don’t really use social media, but reading your blog has been a constant in my own daily routine (not anything big, just a quick check, but time adds up). I came here from your YouTube channel, which I discovered through both your Layton and Nancy Drew walkthroughs. I hope you leave your blog up. In th future, if I ever get social media. I will definitely look you up. From a super sleuth, thanks!

I know that you are slowing down this blog, so let me just say that I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of your posts over the past several years.
If you are looking for a final topic to write about, I have a suggestion.

Seeing as how Nancy Drew was the main reason for your success, and this blog, it only seems right that it should close with Nancy Drew.

Personally I would love to hear about your thoughts on the Nancy Drew community, your favorite ND books, what you want to see in the future for Nancy Drew, and just about Nancy in general.

I love this blog and I hate to see it end, but I know you'll do whats best.
(Maybe you could still keep the blog running with occasional announcements about new Nancy Drew games?)
