2 pounds red potatoes, quartered or halved
2 cups cooked ham
1 can cream of potato soup
1 envelope ranch dressing mix
8 oz cream cheese
You're supposed to mix soup with the dressing mix separately. Then, mix it with the potatoes and ham, in a slowcooker. Cook on low for 8 hours, and add the cream cheese in the last hour.
The recipe was merely okay. I must have messed up on the ham, because it tasted like shoe leather. So I'd try the recipe again, with no ham. But what is it then? It's cut up potatoes in potato soup, with cream cheese added because cream cheese always goes well with potatoes. My wife like ranch with potatoes, although I don't.
Maybe you could replace the ham with chicken bits.
