April Fools Day

Any suggestions for April Fools Day? I was thinking of making a video, where I complain about "Nancy Drew: Midnight in Salem" and how it's been so long since the last Nancy Drew game, I'm tired of waiting, I'm giving up on the series, I hate it, blah blah blah, angry rant. Basically, it'd be a parody of all the people who have been complaining about the upcoming game.

(I sometimes get those angry rants directed towards me, like I'm personally responsible for the game's development.)

But even though that could be hilarious, I think there'd be a lot of potential for people to mistakenly take it seriously, and there could be nasty comments, and no way, I don't want to accidentally stir up the hornet's nest. Maybe I should do something more lighthearted instead, like review a fictional book, "Nancy Drew and the Generic 1980's Mystery".

That would be fun reviewing a fictional ND book! I think you should surprise people and don't say what your doing.

Something light hearted sounds like a good idea.

Something light hearted is probably better. You know how the internet can be sometimes.

You could have a fake book review and then have the book have a twist ending 'advertising' Midnight in Salem!

Yup, would fourth the lighthearted fake book review idea. Or even better, "advertise" an upcoming fictional game - Nancy Drew Goes Down Under! Where she adventures forth into Australia only to discover that someone has tried to kill our Prime Minister! (...my brain is weird today, I apologise!)

I would stay away from MID, also those angry commenters are your fans, and they may feel like you are making fun of them.

You could also do a fake news story, like the Secretary of Education is assigning Nancy Drew books for forensic science classes, or just something silly and funny, but could be true

I'm second the Australia idea! Fake PM or actual current PM? (We might've even had a change of Prime Minister by the time the video is posted.)
