Nancy Drew Mega Marathon Plans

Yesterday, people messed up my plans for the Nancy Drew Mega Marathon, by asking me to play Warnings at Waverly Academy in place of Dossier #1.

So here are options for next week...

1. Dossier Games 1 and 2
2. Trail of the Twister and Shadow at the Water's Edge

But where will Secrets Can Kill Remastered fit into the lineup? If I skip that and the Dossier games, I can be done in four weeks. Both Dossier games will add a week.

Maybe:

April 12: Nancy Drew #22, #23

April 19: Nancy Drew SCK Remastered

April 26: Nancy Drew #24, #25

That way, on Holy Saturday you and Katie wouldn't have to sit in front of the computers forever since it's a relatively shorter game. You could always do a 'bonus' recording for the Dossiers the Saturday after you finish the main games if there's a demand/if you really want to play them.

Will Secrets Can Kill Remaster take up too much time? Since the Dossier series don't take up too much time, maybe throw in SCK2 next week too? All 3 of them are very short games. I know I wouldn't recommend putting that game with Trail of the Twister AND Shadow at the Waters Edge, because both those games will take up a ridiculous amount of time. If Light's Camera Curses will take an hour to complete, Resorting to Danger might take up an hour and a half, that's almost 3 hours of game play. Next weekend will go by very short for you. And then that way, you won't have to move your schedule around, and you won't have SAW and CAP back to back since you did that last year. Whatever you do will always be completely okay with us.

Are you going to do Nancy Drew #30 as a blind walkthrough?

You can just skip SCK Remastered.....

If you are really planning to add in SCK remastered, I suggest you do it next week with the dossier games since their duration of gameplay is much shorter and then continue with Trail of the Twister and SAW the week after. I know that dossier games aren't that popular but you might as well play all the ND games instead of excluding some. The more recent games will take longer to complete so I recommend doing something lighter upcoming Saturday so that you can have a break.

I would have said skip the Dossiers, since they are not part of the Adventure series, which is what we're celebrating by this Mega Marathon.

But I like the Dossiers, and I agree with the people above me: you could probably do SCK Remastered and the Dossiers in less time than two Adventure games usually take.
