Slender: The Eight Pages

In case you didn't know, I played the scary Slenderman game.

I don't understand it. Apparently, you're supposed to find eight pages, but there are no pages anywhere. The game succeeded in making me look at a bunch of near-identical tree trunks, to the point where I got excited about seeing one tree with a slightly different base than the others. (That's at 1:57, and in my defense, there's a distinct paper-like white splotch there).

The weird thing is that one person said I passed by four pages. WHAT? Are the pages the exact same color as the trees, or something? Not to be cruel, but if the goal of the game is to find four pages, they should at least make the pages somewhat distinct from the surroundings! Otherwise, it's basically a 3D hidden objects challenge.

Sadly, it seems that Slenderman himself was too busy to make an appearance.

You didn't see Slenderman? Were you looking at the ground the entire time? Haha

This game is crap, and I don't understand why the 14 year old fan base of yours were so into you playing it. Don't even bother with it. If you want something scary (and with an interesting ACTUAL plot) play Amnesia The Dark Descent or Amnesia A Machine for Pigs (not as good as Dark Descent but newer).

Amnesia was a lot of fun. Probably not appropriate for the younger fans though. It can get a bit graphic with the monsters and mangled body parts laying around the castle.

Personally, I don't like Amnesia as much as I do Slender, now I'm not saying I totally love Slender either, but anyways to me, Amnesia is kind of confusing, I mean, not much happens except that you walk around, see monsters and jump scares, look at journal pages, and blah (I'm bored right now) So, it really doesn't have much to it.(Also , I've seen the ending to Dark Descent, all you do is knock down pillars and your done, yeah, not exciting)Now I'm not saying that Slender is a full adventure either, but Slender doesn't have as many things to do to make it boring

Michael, could you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE post music tracks from the game, no one else will, I don't know how. Please! I'll love you forever. Well, I will anyway. But PLEASE!

I mean from the Silent Spy, of course...

Anon 4:04, did you even play Amnesia? Or pay attention to it? There's a STORY behind it, and that story is definitely not boring if you're paying attention. Also, there are multiple endings..

Um, I don't post anything on message boards...I just like to keep a playlist on youtube to listen to the game tracks I like. There's no need to be rude.

Slender doesn't show up until you find the first page. Pages show up on every odd/out of place landmark, like the funny looking tree you saw at the very beginning of the game. Also there should be one in the building if you head down all of the rooms. And believe me, it's scary as heck when Slender man finally shows up and near impossible to find all 8 pages! You should try it again, Michael! I think you'd be great at it!
