A Thought

Earlier this year, I threw out the idea of doing a huge Nancy Drew marathon.  Something like "Let's play all 30+ games in the series, to prep for the release of Game #30!" would be extremely fun, but it would take a long, long time.

People seem to really like the live marathons, though.  What if I set up a regular time for recording them?  Say, every week I record a game at the same time.  That would take me...over half a year.

...Maybe twice a week, then.

Anyway, it's just a thought.  If I start this marathon, it'll probably be next year.  I've already done a Nancy Drew marathon for 2013.

Actually, Michael, this seems like a really cool and neat idea playing all 30 games in a row to prepare for the 30th Nancy Drew game. I also think its a good idea to do the marathon next year since the 30th game will most probably be released around May.

I do have a suggestion though. I have always wanted to watch you play live but since I live in Singapore, the time difference is too great for me to catch it. Maybe for this marathon, you could cater to international audiences???

Anyway, thanks for all your hard work when it comes to playing videogames. All of us appreciate what you do! :)

WOO! I was hoping you would say something like that! You KNOW we love those Marathons. So it would be next year? I'm really excited now XD Probably If you could do some of them (not all) at the CDT time zone at maybe 4 that would be great, because I've got school DX

Well, you've figured out how long it has taken you to play through each games. The older ones you can play through in probably an hour and a half or less if you really tried. So maybe you could say that you're going to play for 5 hours a week. Some days you might be able to play through two+ games. While other games (Like SAW) You might end up spending more than one day on. That might make the games go faster. #30 won't come out until next May, so you'll still have plenty of time.

A huge marathon would be awesome! Playing though games 1-29 to prep for Game #30 would be fantastic.

I enjoy playing games right before the new comes out because it refreshes my mind about the ND world. If there is a reference to a previous game in the new game, I'm more likely to spot it. And I enjoy it when you notice things from previous games too. :)

I think a huge marathon would be awesome! However this is you that would be playing the games... so, if you really don't feel up for playing them all then that would be alright with me...

Also, Michael, would you do the games in order, or have us vote for which one(s) you would play that day?
