Three Things Thursday

1. Is there a way to transfer bookmarks from Chrome on my computer to Chrome on my iPad?  I want to read things on my iPad instead of my computer, because I think it's probably better for my eyes.

2. It strikes me as a little unfair that the Olympics focus so much on gymnastics and swimming.  If you're a swimmer, great!  You can be in ten different competitions!  If you play a team sport like basketball, sorry, you can only compete in one competition.

3. I think I'll make a series of webcam videos again, so I made a video where I babble for about five minutes, asking people to please tell me what to talk about because I don't know how to do anything besides babble.

Now that I've finally seen your face, your voice doesn't fit your body for some reason. Is that me or is it the computer?

I agree with Polka, your face doesn't fit your voice. Well I plainly like the random things you talk about, so just keep on talking randomly.

1. Yes. You need a Google account and Google Chrome for it. Just click on the wrench and go to "Settings" and click "Advanced sync settings". You can check all of them or one of them! Then sign in with your Google account on your iPad! Everything you have in your browser is right in the iPad!

2. You could be right or wrong. Why don't you check in this website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olympic_sports

3. Congrats! Your approaching video #2000!

3. Is it true that you are planning on writing a Phoenix Wright/Nancy Drew crossover story?

Your surmisal of Doctor Who is scarily accurate. "A time-traveler who wears bow-ties while time-traveling."

I think it would be cool if you read aloud the "Two-Minute Mysteries" that some of us wrote (http://arglefumph.blogspot.com/2012/07/2-minute-mysteries.html. It would be hilarious to hear your narration.

Face fine, voice fine and both seem compatible to me. Was there a lag on the vocals or something? Glad to see you're watching our Olympics. Now it seems that it has been organised rather better than expected, I'm happy to claim some sort of proprietorial connection. Eton Dorney (Rowing) is just down the road from me, but until a week ago it was just plain old Dorney(??) What did you think of the opening ceremony? Did you get all the allusions? That's my idea for your video. We have an Olympic TV satire running at the moment called Twenty Twelve. It's a mocumentary following the Olympic Deliverance Committee in the run up to the Olympics. It's not in the least bit complimentary, but somehow nobody seems to mind - Seb Coe even appeared in it. I think that in itself is a very interesting illustration of British self-deprication. I think the Opening Ceremony was a bit like this too, but I'm interested in how it came across to other countries.
