More of the Demo!

I played more of the demo for Nancy Drew: Shadow at the Water's Edge!  Sadly, I had technical difficulties where the sound skipped randomly, so I had to throw out ten minutes of footage and replay that part of the game. So if it ever looks like I know what to do ahead of time, that's why.

I still don't know how to do the last thing on my to-do list: find out what a yurei is. I mentioned this about five times, so people who have actually beaten the demo can give me a helpful hint.

There is a toy vending machine, you are right in front of it when you enter the game parlor. There is a comic in there you need to buy it and read it.

Ugh, I hate using the subway. It takes SO long! Why couldn't it just be like Phantom Of Venice? That was nice and simple.

Once you use the subway to get to Kure the "long way", the game just sends you there straightaway. I know, it took me forever to figure out how to get there.

When you go to the pachinko parlor, one of the prizes you can earn is a little comic book (even though it looks kinda like a candy bar) and you have to buy and read it. :)

I know, it takes FOREVER to get to Kure. But once you get there, I think you can get there right away, and to get to the other station, you choose it when you get to Kure ... if that makes sense. Anyway, you only can explore the Kure station in the demo, so not the most useful information, I guess ...

Anyway, several people have answered the yurei question, but it's in the prize machine. You have to play that game until you get enough of those ball things to cash in for it. It should be the ONLY thing in the prize machine you can buy ... I'm pretty sure.

A yurei is a form of a "Japanese ghost" or whatever you want to call it. My computer won't download the demo so I have no idea what to do, sorry!
