New Shoes

I went shopping for new shoes yesterday, because my mom/sister were getting new shoes for Dad because his birthday is coming up. I don't buy shoes often. I'm still using my dress shoes from 2001, and my old sneakers have the date 2/9/07 on the label.

I don't like shopping for shoes very much. I know some people buy really fancy shoes that cost $100. I figure, why bother doing that? After all, I'm not going to take good care of my shoes. I'm going to step on them several thousand times. You don't do that to something you want to take good care of.

And besides, I seriously don't approve of the fact that most shoes are made by children in sweatshops. Children shouldn't be working in manual labor full-time, period. That's criminal, no matter what the laws say.

Well, we ended up having to go to three stores, because I apparently have mutant alien feet that don't fit in any shoes. The normal size eights are too tight, and the size eight wides are too big. Eventually, I had to settle for a pair that's too tight because it was the best fit. Now my feet are hurting. Mean old shoes.

I'm quite sorry about your shoe problem, Michael. It seems all the shoes that I find and love get too big too quickly. Darn. I completely agree that what they do to children is horrifying and criminal. I also have a problem with shoes. My feet are long, but sort of narrow. Weird, right? So any time I find shoes that fit the length, there's to much extra width space. And any time I find a pair that fit the width space, my feet are crushed in too short shoes. Can't they just fit??? So whenever I find a pair of shoes that I think are super groovy and they fit, it's practically a miracle. I hope your feet feel better.

Um, i need to tell ya somthin,
Wearing tight shoes over a while may cause a toe disese, i forgot what its called but it makes the nail bed bleed uncontrolibly, so
just be careful

Hmm, I don't think I do. But Old Navy has really cheap really comfy flipflops. Just a suggestment!

Woa! I wouldn`t want that to happen to me!Scary! My sister said that if I want to go into point ( It`s sort of ballet but u get this shoes whith a cushion in it so then u can go on the tip of your toes and dance.) I have to point correctly, because there was this girl who didn`t and... whele.. her toe nail came OFF! Gross, right? ( By the way I`m in ballet if your wondering. )

Ugh! Part of my toenail came off when I was little because I dropped a coke can on it. Ugh. It didn't bleed or anything, but still. My friend Erika thinks it's cool that you do dance (she does ballet and tap). I used to be in dance when I was younger, but it really wasn't for me. I would rather smash things.

That`s nice of Erika to say that. I`m in Jazz and Hip Hop also. But I kind of don`t want to take Jazz anymore, because my teacher... ( Mrs.Erickson.) Wait a minute... did u say your friend ERIKA! I dance with someone named Erika! FREAKY! Anyways Mrs.Erickson isn`t really nice and she makes u work really hard and she kind of sucked all of the fun out of it. :( But, my mom will not let me quit for some reason. :( I started Ballet when I was 4 years old! Jazz was I think 6 or 7, and Hip Hop was this year. Oh, and could u ask Erika if she dances at La dance for me?

Groovy. I used to be in Jazz, Ballet, and Hip Hop but I just didn't really like it after a while. I decided it wasn't for me. Wow, my Ballet teacher SUCKED!!! One time when I was in Ballet talking with my friend (who was very very small), the teacher got mad and came over and picked her up by the arms and carried her like that over to the other side of the room and got all mad. Ugh, hate her guts. Wow you started dance when you were real young! Erika started when she was 5 years old. No, she says she dances at Legacy. Sorry! Check out my blog and comment please! Thanks :D

My brother and sister are going to the Green Day concert tonight and my mom and I are going to McNally Robinson to hear the announcment of the winner for a contest to see which series, Twilight or Harry Potter people like better.Did u know that there are Nancy Drew GRAPHIC NOVILS at McNally Robinson! I have over, # 2,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16 and #17.don`t u think I kind of absessed?Oh, and what do u think about Michael Jacksons... death? Isn`t that sad? It`s kind of our fault, because we said that he made alot of mistakes and he started to take drugs because of that and now he`s... gone. :( :(

i am so sorry for you Michael I Have almost the same problem.so i went to old navy and they had shoes my size.this is so freaky my shoe size is......................9in a half W......W means WIDE and I am only 11 years old. Love,Joanna
